Odd Instincts Studio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Odd Instincts Studio operates an owner-controlled workflow for preparing original English-language visual stories about unusual human and animal behavior, habits, instincts, and perception. The workflow can send owner-approved videos to the official Odd Instincts TikTok account through TikTok’s official Content Posting API. This policy explains how information is handled when TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Content Posting API are used.

1. Information we receive

Only after the account owner authorizes the app, the workflow may receive the TikTok account identifier (open ID), display name, avatar information, and an access token necessary to upload owner-approved content to the official Odd Instincts TikTok account. It may also process video files, captions, titles, hashtags, thumbnail choices, publishing status, and technical upload records for the relevant content.

2. How information is used

Information is used solely to identify the authorized owner account, validate upload eligibility, transfer an approved video, show upload status, and prevent duplicate uploads. The workflow does not use TikTok account information for advertising, profiling, sale, rental, or unrelated analytics.

3. Owner control and automatic posting

The workflow may transfer an owner-approved video only to the TikTok inbox associated with the owner-authorized Odd Instincts connection, and only after a content package passes evidence, originality, rights, metadata, caption, technical-quality, archive, duplicate, and brand checks. The owner makes the final posting decision inside TikTok. The workflow does not publish directly, post to another account, send direct messages, or access passwords, two-factor codes, cookies, or browser sessions. The owner may pause or revoke the workflow at any time.

4. Sharing

Information is shared only with TikTok as necessary to complete the owner-authorized upload. We do not sell or share personal information with advertising networks or unrelated third parties.

5. Retention and security

Access tokens and integration configuration are stored outside source code in owner-only protected storage. Logs are designed to redact credentials. Technical upload records are retained only for operational integrity, reconciliation, and duplicate prevention. A creator may revoke access through TikTok’s connected-app settings; revocation stops further API access.

6. Children

This workflow is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone below the minimum age required to use TikTok in their region.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the workflow changes. The current version will always be posted at this address with its effective date.
